At the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Economics - Varna, representatives of CSoft held a lecture on Best Practices in the Development of Enterprise Software Applications. The lecturer of the event was our software architect Zdravko Draganov. For many years he has been a mentor and lecturer in our internship programs, working on some of our most important projects and participating in the formation of the architectural design of our developments. He introduced the students in general to topics that would be useful for their future professional growth as programmers, namely: Enterprise Software, Quality Source Code, Design Principles, Application Architecture. Our CTO Hristian Atanasov also took part in the event in order to share valuable experience with the students.
We are grateful to Prof. Vladimir Salov, Ph.D.- Dean of Faculty of Informatics at the University of Economics - Varna for the opportunity and asked him for feedback on the event.
Prof. Vladimir Salov, Ph.D.: On the one hand, the students understood that companies like CSoft use the basic technologies and tools they learn during their studies. At the same time, the students were introduced to good practices of the company and the industry in general, the perspective and requirements of the business, which builds on their knowledge of the university.
Prof. Vladimir Salov, Ph.D.: The specialists from CSoft managed to present both the company itself and the topic in a professional, but at the same time attractive way, which aroused and kept the interest of the students.
Prof. Vladimir Salov, Ph.D.: I think it is important to organize events and maintain contacts between the University and in particular the Department of Informatics and Business, because for young people, students, our goal is common - to have qualified, well-trained professionals in the field of Informatics.
