CSoft played a key role in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Postbank.

SAP S/4HANA is an enterprise resource planning system with built-in artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced analytics. With the assistance of these intelligent technologies, the system facilitates the adoption of new business models and optimizes the processes of financial management of internal and external resources. SAP S/4HANA was adapted and implemented in Postbank by A1 - SAP's strategic partner for Bulgaria. This project has achieved optimization of information flows, better structuring of reports and transparency regarding external regulatory and control organizations.

Tell us more about the SAP S/4HANA project.

The project is related to the implementation of the ERP solution SAP S/4HANA in Postbank. In general, it is a system that uses intelligent technology to assist the bank in making decisions about its development in accordance with all regulatory requirements. In order to work as correctly as possible, the ERP system needs large amounts of data from different sources, in different formats, for different processes. Our team cut in here. The task we executed was to quickly build optimal and reliable procedures for the integration of banking data into the ERP system. Providing accurate, detailed and applicable data from the core banking system was critical to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

What projects has your team been involved in during the past months?

We work on various projects, mainly for Postbank. Our team makes a complete replacement of the interface for connection with the credit rating system, a new interface for connection with an IBM's system for analysis and prevention of fraud, automation and control of customer data and much more.

What were the challenges and difficulties you faced during the project related to the scanning devices?

The multiteam work environment, including interaction not only with different subdivisions of the bank, but also with A1, was a challenge which while overcoming made us even better in communication. Together with A1, we delivered the project in parts, in a series of versions. This process required excellent synchronization and strict adherence to deadlines to ensure that in a real environment the system would work as expected. And so it happened, the multistage integration went very smoothly.

What did you learn thanks to the project and would you apply in the future?

As I mentioned, we have learned to communicate better with different organizations and we are now even more flexible in this regard. We have become professionals in multistage integration when working with various vendors. Our team is able to respond very quickly to changing requirements in a dynamic business environment and this is particularly important in our field of activity.
