Mid/Senior Business Analyst

We are growing and looking for a Mid – Senior Business Analyst to join to join our software development team in Varna. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex banking business needs and technical software solutions. You will work closely with development, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital banking products.

‍Elicit requirements from banking stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and data analysis
‍Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
‍Map business processes (As-Is and To-Be) to optimize banking workflows and software efficiency
‍Collaborate closely with Development, Design, and QA teams throughout the entire software lifecycle
‍Create test scenarios and test cases to validate that the product meets all business criteria
‍Validate product quality during user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the QA team
‍Manage scope changes and prioritize product backlogs in coordination with Project Managers

Cover these essentials:

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven professional experience as a Business Analyst in software development
‍Design & Collaboration: Proficiency in using Figma or similar products to review UI/UX designs and collaborate with designers
‍Methodologies: Good understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional frameworks, with practical experience in project delivery
‍Tools: Practical knowledge of project management tools like Jira and Confluence
‍Language Skills: Professional English proficiency (written and verbal)
‍Communication: Excellent skills to align technical developers, creative designers, and quality assurance engineers

Even better if you possess the following:

Data Skills: Basic knowledge or experience with SQL for data querying and analysis
‍AI Tools: Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., LLMs like ChatGPT) and an interest in using them to optimize BA workflows or document generation
‍Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of core banking business processes and workflows
‍Regulations: Familiarity with loca land European banking regulations (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, AML)
‍Integrations: Experience with API integrations and system-to-system mapping
